Crestworth Middle School is proud to be in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge. This is the third year that "The Club" has been involved with the teachers and students at Crestworth Middle School. Boys and Girls club leaders and volunteers are always eager to receive our students after school, shedding a POSITIVE light in their lives.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge is committed to serving young people, especially those who need us most. Known as "The Positive Place for Kids," the Club provides guidance-oriented character development programs on a daily basis conducted by professional staff. Key Boys & Girls Club programs emphasize character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts and sports, fitness and recreation.
Boys and Girls Club operates Monday-Thursday from 2:25pm-6:00pm. Transportation and snacks are provided daily

Upcoming Events:
On November 18, 2008, the Boys & Girls Club will host their annual Steak & Stake Dinner. Steak & Stake is a unique event that provides the opportunity for donors and community leaders to meet with Club members in a fun and casual atmosphere. The Club honors participants for taking a STAKE in a child's life by celebrating with a delicious STEAK dinner. Donors and sponsers interact with kids and leave with a first-hand glimpse of the enormous impact their support has made on the lives of Club members.
The money raised by the event provides Club members with enriching educational, recreational, and leadership development program. Club programming provides children with the opportunity for fun, structured learning in a safe setting
